Aim: collecting and validate data, information, and knowledge, mainly by responding to questions on: 

  • Available land and present land uses, energy dependency, ratio of diesel and benzene consumption in transport , the economic performance of the agricultural sector, and land productivity, etc.) and possible Biofuels pathways appropriate to CEE countries (in terms of feedstock availability, strategies/drivers, etc
  • Possible biofuels pathways using existing techologies
  • Needs identification and potential for cooperation
